STRYKER'S STORY

Dear DAR&E,

Here are the pictures of Stryker that I promised! I'm definately NOT a professional photographer! Ha! As you can see, she is healthy; happy and loved by all.
She spent this day at her "Grandma's" house. She plays so much when she's there that she 'poops herself out' and naps for the rest of the day!
A few were taken at home - I think she looks like "Tigger" in the close up. Her coat is so shiney. It actually reflects light! It's hard to get a great inside close up of her. I think she's sticking her tongue out at you! Ha!
It's 5:46 am; she's up and running. Throwing her stuffed SuperMan and Monkey around! She knows that Saturday is always "Grandma day"...so she gets excited and keeps bugging me like a kid. While I'm fixing my coffee this morning, she'll be running to her leash; sticker her nose on it; then she'll run back to me. "Hurry up, Mom! I'm ready to go! Is it time yet!?" (hee, hee) I'll tell her, "Let me finish my coffee and we've got to take a shower first!" Then she'll start playing with her toys for awhile until the process starts again. We take a shower and go to Grandmas! Yeah!
She is my best friend. I love her with all my heart! I an't imagine life without her. She's the BEST!! I'll go for now...I've got a diaper to change!
Thank you!
Amy & Stryker

Background on Stryker: Stryker came to DAR&E as a young Dobe with incontinence problems. At the time, Amy worked at the kennel where DAR&E dogs await a foster home. Amy fell in love with Stryker and decided to adopt her despite the health issue that would require she diaper Stryker when she's inside. This is a very happy ending for both!
