I adopted Tara in Jan. 2003. I had always wanted a Doberman but never lived in house that would allow pets. When I bought my home in August of 2002 I decided then that I wanted to get my Doberman. I found out about DAR&E and began watching the website for female Dobermans that may be the one for me. One day I was browsing and I came across Tara posted and decided that I would take a trip out and visit her. When I arrived I knew right then that she was the one for me. Over the next week I took my time and made a couple of more trips and finally picked her up and brought her home. She has been a wonderful addition to my home and an absolute joy to have around, and has become one of my best friends over the past year and half. Everyone who meets Tara falls in love with her because she is the most compassionate dog that I think I have ever seen. She is a true testament that with a little love, attention, and care any dog can be a sweetheart!!!!
