The Kennel Club – Safe and Sound Scheme – (oriented for children) This is an interactive online program that has three parts. First, read Sashi the Safe and Sound Hound’s rules for keeping safe around dogs. Then, play the online safety game with Sashi. The third part has educational instructions.
The American Kennel Club – Safety Activity Booklets (oriented for children)- Safety Around Dogs – This is a very well done printable activity booklet covering a variety of situations in which children encounter dogs and what they should do including a section on communication. Booklet includes coloring pages, word scrambles, word games and more.
