About Harley

Harley is a very smart, fun loving black/tan dobie girl. She will be 4 years old on December 28th of this year.

Harley was rescued by DAR&E because her owners had a baby and changes to their schedule that left Harley without the attention and playtime that she was used to.

Harley LOVES to play fetch. Check out her video: https://youtu.be/MBFE8mpYHaI

Harley is also an excellent frisbee catcher.

Harley is a big, tall girl weighing in at 94 lbs. At 94 lbs she is about 4-5 lbs over her ideal weight. Harley's tail is docked and her ears cropped. Her left ear is a bit lazy so it doesn't stand perfectly which serves to soften her otherwise very serious doberman face.

Harley is protective of her family so she likes to check people out before she becomes their friend. After you are accepted, Harley is happy to let you play frisbee with her! She can be a little whiny about riding in the car but sits in the back seat nicely. Harley is well behaved in the house, knows basic commands and is house trained.

She takes a daily medication to prevent incontinence that is common with spayed female dogs.

Because Harley lives to play frisbee and fetch she is looking for a home with a fenced yard large enough for frequent games of fetch. Harley will be happy as an only dog or in a home with a smaller dog.

She tends to be uncomfortable around larger dogs. Harley is not good with cats.

Harley is a great dog who will make someone an awesome companion. If you have time and love to give Harley, email to learn more about her.
