Silver came to DAR&E on December 30th, 2003....skinny as can be, and the tests showed the worst results...Silver was heartworm positive. For six weeks the staff at Crosspointe Animal Hospital helped this boy battle this terrible condition. The treatment is a slow process, and Silver was kept at Crosspointe during this time so they could keep a close watch on him. Though a huge effort was made to save this boy's life, he lost his battle February 11th, 2004.
