I would have never known how to eat without fear of being beaten. I would never known what it meant to kiss and be kissed on my cute nose. I would never have known the simple things in life - playing with my cousin Hannah and sister Sammie. Without you my life would never have been so rich and happy. Then an angel called my name and petted me on my head. She said my home was ready in Heaven and that I'd have to leave behind my all of those I dearly love. I had so much to live for - so many "sits" and "downs" and long walks in the park. My heart was consumed with sorrow. But when I walked through Heaven's gate, I felt so much at home. God has welcomed me and said, "This is eternity, and now we welcome you, Madison." Today my life on earth is gone, but here in heaven it starts anew. I will wait here in heaven and welcome all of you with my faithful heart and wagging tail. Don't think we're far apart for every time you think of me, I'm right there, in your heart. Mandy was out in her yard when a neighbor child opened the gate. Like her brother, Prince, she lost her life when hit by a car.
