If your looking for the ultimate in Doberman specimen then look no further. Darcy is your guy. This five year old, blue, natural eared, docked tail wonder is here to fulfill all of your Doberman dreams.
Are you in love with the Doberman Velcro trait? Well check that box on your list. You will no longer need to do those pesky scary things, like go to the bathroom by yourself. Darcy is here to help you combat those fears by allowing you to pet him and love on him. He is one big hunk of love and sweetness.
Darcy gets along with everyone it seems. We have yet to meet any human, be them young or old, small or tall, that he does not feel should be his friend. He lived with a two year old in his previous residence and gets along great with our 13 year old and the other kids that he has met.
Darcy gets a long well with our female (which in all honesty is no small feat, she can be a bit of a princess) and while out and about all he wants to do is meet new friends.
He is house trained and even though not officially crate trained we have not had a problem getting him into our x-pen when we leave for the day (that might have something to do with the wee bit of peanut butter we put in a kong for him).
He knows how to sit, down and come and will just blossom even more with further training.
Darcy's first and foremost love is his humans followed closely by his ball and playing fetch and playing with his frisbee. He's also the best kind of dog because he's willing to chew on all those expensive chew bones that you buy but no one ever seems to want to chew on.
His leash walking definitely needs works, he's so excited to meet new friends and be outside that he just wants to get everywhere faster. Darcy also feels that all squirrels are out to get him so he wants to go after then first. Because of this trait, we don't feel that a household with a cat would be a good idea.
Thunderstorms and fireworks are intimidating for him but all he needs is to find someone who understands and wants to love him through it.
Darcy is truly a nice Doberman who feels his sole purpose in life is to be with you and your sole purpose in life is to love and pet him.
He was given up because his owners did not have enough time for him. Can you be his forever person? Can you love him forever?
Darcy's family couldn't take care of him anymore because of work commitments.
