About Ginger
This is Ginger, a seven-year-old black/tan female Doberman. She has cropped ears and a docked tail. Ginger is very friendly and loves to be where her people are. She is good with other dogs, but she does like to chase cats.
You can usually find her napping on her bed during the day. When she’s awake, though, she still has lots of energy. She likes to take walks and will literally run circles around you. She’ll need some work on leash walking. She’s usually quiet but does bark at unknown noises. She will go in a crate with a bit of encouragement, but she does well out of the crate for extended periods.
Ginger is a very sweet, affectionate girl. I think she’s had some training in the past, but it hasn’t been reinforced for quite a while. She will sit and wait for her meals.
Ginger would do well in a home with a family who can provide plenty of attention, and maybe another dog to keep her company.

DAR&E only places within the Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, and in portions of both eastern West Virginia and southern Pennsylvania. Our dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots and microchipped.
