About Jackson
DAR&E rescued Jackson, who had a mass on his shoulder, and took him to a vet for evaluation. The mass was removed; it turned out to be a grade-1 sarcoma. These masses are less likely to metastasize but do have the potential to regrow. New growths would need to be removed. Currently, he is healthy and cancer free. He is now enjoying his foster home where he will get all the love and care he needs.

Jackson was turned into a shelter through no fault of his own. He had some medical concerns and we wanted to help him with those.
DAR&E only places within the Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, and in portions of both eastern West Virginia and southern Pennsylvania. Our dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots and microchipped.
