About Jinx

Meet Jinx — the ultimate Velcro Doberman. This sweet, affectionate four-year-old is looking for a home where she can be someone’s devoted shadow. Whether you’re on the couch, watching TV, or winding down for the night, Jinx will be right there beside you, head in your lap and completely content.

A change in work circumstances means she’s spending too many hours alone, and her dad made the difficult decision to find her a home that can give her the time and companionship she deserves.

What Jinx loves:

• Long walks, hikes, and 3–4 mile runs
• Car rides (she hops right in on command!)
• Cuddling on the couch with her dedicated blanket
• Playing with friendly, easygoing dogs
• Parading stuffed animals around the house… and eventually destuffing them

About her temperament: Jinx is gentle, submissive, and conflict-avoidant. She’s been around friendly dogs and young children in Rover boarding situations and has done beautifully. She is patient, calm, and tolerant on walks when meeting neighborhood kids. She is leash-trained, crate-trained, and has never had a crate accident. She sleeps quietly through the night, either snuggled up with her person or on her own dog bed.

A note on cats: Jinx is curious about cats but not aggressive. She does get intensely interested and may not always respect feline boundaries. A confident, dog-savvy cat and a patient owner to manage introductions carefully would set everyone up for success.

Health & care: Jinx is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and healthy.
