About Bentley

Meet Bentley, our dark eyed, fine boned beauty!

Bentley is a 4 year old, black/tan female Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail.  She is a very smart, inquisitive girl who will steal your heart with her sweet, affectionate nature and playful ways.  Bentley is a petite girl weighing about 55 lbs. She is a little shy at first but give her a few minutes and soon she will be wooing you with her abundant charm. 

Bentley was returned to DAR&E after her owner passed away.  She is looking for a home where she will be someone’s special girl who has lots of time for her.  Bentley would be happy as your one and only getting all the love but she likes other dogs and would be fine with an easy going male that doesn’t mind letting her be the princess. No cats for Bentley.

Bentley is house trained and loves to ride in the car.  Bentley likes having a crate for her den/safe place but due to her previous owners lengthy illness she was crated extensively in the past so she is seeking a home where she will not be crated much. Bentley hasn’t shown much interest in toys other than treat dispensers but she loves to explore the yard, chase birds and really enjoys zooming around the yard.

Bentley is hoping for a nice sized fenced yard so she can stretch her legs every day.  Bentley has had some training and knows basic commands. She is food motivated and likes to learn so she would be a fun dog to take places and do things with. She gets a little nervous during storms but she will seek a quiet place to ride out the storm.
