About Cash

Meet Cash. Cash is an affectionate, gentle boy who is ready to find his forever home. At 8 years old, he’s still full of love, energy, and curiosity. With his sleek black coat highlighted by warm brown on his chest and paws, he’s as handsome as he is sweet.

Cash is wonderful with people—he’s especially great with children—and does very well with medium and large dogs. While he hasn’t had much exposure to smaller dogs, he has shown himself to be curious, friendly, and non-aggressive with the dogs he’s met. True to his easy-going nature, he has no bite history and loves being around people.

This loyal companion is healthy, neutered, and up to date on vet care. He does have a couple of quirks to be aware of: if left alone too long, he may have occasional urinary accidents, so he thrives with a family that can provide him regular outdoor breaks (at least 4 times a day). Like many food-driven pups, he may also go scavenging if tasty treats are left within reach, so a little counter awareness goes a long way! He also has a few skin tags on his elbows—completely normal for a large dog and nothing to worry about.

Cash is well-trained and knows a variety of commands: sit, lie down, stay, paw, speak, come, and go. He loves his walks and jogs, and never says no to a good belly rub or scratch session. Above all, Cash is loving, loyal, and eager to be part of a family again.
