About Coco
Are you looking for an older, calmer Doberman who is more of a couch potato than a velociraptor? Then Coco is your girl!!
Coco is a sweet, Blue Doberman who just turned 9. She loves to be anywhere that you are! Coco is a healthy girl who weighs about 66 pounds and has a docked tail and natural ears. Coco has a beautiful full coat of fur.
Sweet Coco came to us because her elderly owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Even though Coco has gone through a lot recently losing her home and family she has remained a sweet, loving dog.
Coco is house-trained and very well-behaved when inside. She is not a fan of being crated so I have left her with the run of the house when I am not home without incident. Coco will whine and howl (softly) when I am gone so she would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time.
Coco enjoys exploring our yard and taking walks in our woods. Coco may pull on the leash if she sees a squirrel or other small animal. Coco also loves to relax and lay in the sun when outside!
Coco enjoys nibbling on a couple of her favorite plush toys and will always have one or two with her most of the time. She does like to sleep in bed with you, but she tends to stay in her spot on the bed and isn’t a bed hog. She also likes to lay next to you on the couch.
Coco loves to take car rides and will keep watch out the windows for most of the ride. When Coco catches the smell of your food, she will stare deep into your eyes hoping that you will share your meal with her. Coco is dog-reactive and will need a home without other dogs. Coco is not good with cats.
Coco is a well-mannered girl who allows me to Dremel her nails and wipe her feet when wet before coming inside the house. She is a great older gal who is currently located in Virginia.
