Hi, I'm Coco

About Coco

Meet Coco! She is a sweet, Blue/tan female Doberman. She loves to be anywhere and everywhere that you are! Coco just turned 10 and is a very healthy girl. She weighs about 75 lbs and has a docked tail and natural ears. Unlike some blue Dobermans, Coco also has a beautiful full coat of fur. Coco came to us due to her elderly owner’s health declining and she could no longer care for her lifelong companion.

Coco is house-trained. She is not a fan of being crated so I have left her with the run of the house when I am not home without incident. Coco will whine when I am gone so she would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time.

Coco enjoys using her nose to explore our yard and loves taking walks in our woods and down our road. Coco may jump around and pull on the leash if she sees a cat or other small animal. Coco gets excited when she sees deer. She also loves to relax and lay in the sun when outside!

Coco enjoys nibbling on a couple of her favorite plush toys and will usually have one or two with her most of the time. She does like to sleep in our bed, but she tends to stay in her spot and isn’t a bed hog. She also likes to lay next to you on the couch.

Coco loves to take car rides and will keep watch out the windows for most of the ride. Coco goes with me to my office most mornings. We usually do not see any of my coworkers, but when we do, she enjoys meeting them.

Coco is a well-mannered girl who allows me to Dremel her nails, bathe her, and wipe her feet when wet before coming inside the house. If you’re looking for an older, calmer Doberman then Coco would be a great companion for you. Coco is being fostered in Virginia.

This is My Story

Sweet Coco came to us because her elderly owner became ill and could no longer care for her.  Even though Coco has gone through a lot recently losing her home and family she has remained a sweet, loving dog.
