About Lupo

Lupo is a 5-year-old male neutered, black & rust Doberman that has so much love to give (DOB 4/28/21). He is very true to the breed in that he is incredibly goofy and does not understand the concept of personal space. While his perfect day consists of lying on the couch with his owners, he also enjoys the outdoors and romping around a trail. He will do ANYTHING for treats, and he would sell his kidney for a single pup cup. He has always lived in an apartment, so he is well-suited to small spaces (not to say he wouldn’t also love a big yard). He enjoys wearing his collection of coats (see photos), sunbathing indoors, and performing a wide variety of tricks. He has a strange fear of balloons, smoke, and on occasion, his own shadow. 

Lupo has food and environmental allergies, which are managed with a prescription diet and a daily anti-itch medication. As a city dog for the past five years, he has a tendency to eat objects on walks, so he wears a basket muzzle outside as a precaution. He is up to date on all vaccinations, preventatives, and annual bloodwork.

Lupo needs an adult-only home and must be closely supervised around any visiting children.

He is good with other dogs that are spayed/neutered, but he has not been tested around cats. He loves being in the car, and he has gone on many road trips– mostly, as long as he’s with you, he will be the happiest dog in the world. Lupo is crate-trained, house-trained & leash-trained.
