About Max

Max is a three year old, black and rust, docked, natural eared, housetrained dober goof ball.  He is absolutely, one of the sweetest Doberman’s that we have ever met.  He loves humans and has yet to meet a stranger.  Max loves taking walks, although his leash manners definitely need help. He has just the right amount of energy and with a few walks, playtime and some training time, he is typically ready to start lounging between 7:00 and 8:00 at night.  When we are away, he hangs out in his ex pen without issue and at night he sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom.  With his previous family he lived with four other dogs and we have had the ability to meet up with other dogs off leash and Max loves to play and run around with them.  Max has been great at just coming in to the house and going with the flow and quickly getting into the grove of our schedule. We have been able to give him baths and trim his nails and have been working on sit, down, come, stay, and give paw.  From the beginning he has let us take toys and treats away from him and he has no problem if you are near him while he’s eating.  He’s a typical doberman that loves to be with his people and is always interested in what you are doing, especially if you are in the kitchen.  Max would love a family to call is own and will love him for who he is and help him become the Doberman he is meant to become.  Please consider meeting him and seeing what a lovebug he is.
