About Mya

This stunning and loving 4-year-old cream with white markings girlie is Mya! Mya has a moderate energy level including play times and walks. Mya is more of couch potato Dobie. She would rather be cuddling and napping than getting up to too many things. She also likes her “me time.” She will also sometimes “purr” like a cat or let out a big “sigh,” she is very expressive. While she likes her independent time, she is very snuggly and will swat you with her big paws, very cute to see, especially with the look on her face when she does so! Her goofiness is contagious! She has a great balance of affection but also provides you with space of your own.

Mya is house-trained and has good house manners. She stays in a crate while her human foster family is not home, vocalizing at first for a few minutes but then settled down nicely. Mya is very treat motivated and always welcoming snacks!

She is a showstopper and gets lots of attention on her walks. She is good on the leash without much pulling (unless she picks up the scent of another animal/dog – which makes her very curious). She will watch with utmost curiosity of cars, cyclists, motorcycles, people from afar, including joggers, family outings and stroller sessions. She loves to meet new people and children. She can be quite vocal, letting out that deep Dobergirl bark announcing her presence. She barks with curiosity and interest at dogs she sees on a walk, and sometimes whines as she wants to meet and greet everyone.

Mya is good with other dogs of comparable size, personality, and energy level. She likes playing with other Dobermans for instance. No cats for Mya.

As a reminder, Mya is cream-colored with white markings. She has these beautiful blue eyes and cute pink nose.
