About Noble

Noble is a fun, energetic, tall, sweet, goofy, 10-month-old red male Doberman. He has a docked tail and huge floppy ears, and weighs about 75 pounds. He is house-trained and crate-trained.

Noble came to us through no fault of his own. He is food-motivated and a very quick learner, so Noble will excel at training. He currently knows leave-it and sit, and is getting better every day with come and down. He is also familiar with clicker training. Noble is good on the leash during walks. He also loves to play in the yard with his jolly ball or just explore the yard.

When inside, he loves his chew bones or a Kong filled with treats and peanut butter. He should not have plush toys as he’s still young and may swallow the stuffing. At night, he settles down quickly and sleeps through the night on a dog bed in our bedroom.

Noble has some separation anxiety when left alone, so he would do best in a home where his people are home with him during most days. He is in his crate during the day while we are gone and will do some barking and whining, but does settle down. He has not gotten onto any furniture since he has been with us, and we haven’t encouraged it. Noble lived with a senior Lab in his previous home without issues. He has also lived with young teen children before. Noble is looking for an active home, and due to his age, he requires a fenced-in yard. Noble and his family would benefit from a commitment to training and keeping him active. He is a sweet, Velcro Doberman who will follow you all over the house and do the Dobe lean! He loves to lie at your feet and chew on his favorite bone, put his head in your lap for pets, or just nap.

Sweet Noble is currently being fostered in Virginia.
